My Dad passed early this morning very calmly and peacefully. I had a few very sweet moments with him over the past few days and I’ll be forever grateful for those memories 🩷

So sorry for the loss of your father. Please keep beloved memories of him close to your heart. You might want to join a bereavement group in the future to help you process your grief. I was my beloved mommy’s sole caregiver when she had stage 4 pancreatic cancer. After she passed away, I joined a bereavement group. It was very helpful.

Thank you so much for your kind words. As my mom’s situation was deteriorating, as a request for my birthday, She left me a voice mail in an old school answering machine. She left me with very touching words - U R the best daughter in the world and God only knows that and humor follow my advice because it’s heartfelt.

Yes this recording means so much to me. My mother was my best friend. I was there for her when she had pancreatic cancer all the time. I was her sole caregiver. That kind of love will always stay deep in my heart.

l was carer to my husband who had bladder cancer. It was good to be with him in his last days. Grief happens to all of us at some point in our lives and slowly we learn to live with it. We do our best and God does the rest. Thinking of you and pray for your strength in the days ahead.

Thank you 🩷 Unfortunately I’ve had a few others very close to me pass already and know that it just takes time to grieve. It’s just very difficult when the one person you never thought would die (my big strong Daddy) actually dies 💔

Losing a parent is so hard. We are with them from birth and they are always there for us (well good parents are) and love us unconditionally. It’s like our safety net is taken away and we feel like orphans, My dad died 2000 and my mum 2015. My husband 2009. They say God gives most when most is taken away. You will smile again and have happy times and the emptiness will fade, but there will always be an empty space that nobody can fill because of the special bond that can never break, You will be ok. Parents want us to be happy and enjoy life, so we go on for them. Take one day at a time. We are left to grieve, but the angels in Heaven will be singing at his arrival. God bless and look after yourself.
