Hi Marss
I can relate to your feelings. To this day, I haven't been able to tell my parents that I have anxiety issues.
It's not that they won't understand it. They can definitely understand. However, we tend to feel why to bother someone else. Let's deal with our problems ourselves, shouldn't we? But that's not true...
Now, if you have someone with whom you can talk and share your feelings, then that's better. This community is an excellent place, I must say!
In your case, it seems to me that you might be suffering both, anxiety and depression. If it's an early onset, a therapist can help you to get better and be on track.
You know yourself best. I don't know what your parents are like. It is not a sign of weakness to get some help if you need it. It's better to try to see a therapist than to be making a suicide attempt. I wish you the best.
Hi- I have a sister who used to be a happy person but when something negative happened in my family she became sad and lost the joy of doing things that she used to enjoy. She lost lots of weight because she had no appetite and could not sleep. After months of being in that condition, we encouraged her to seek medical help. She was diagnosed with anxiety but she refused treatments. She fought a hard battle. Me and my other sisters are her support group, we prayed and encouraged her. She also has a life group that she meets once a week online. It’s a big help and her mood now is improving.
I hope you can check with a counselor, they are trained to better help you. It’s also helpful if you have someone you can talk to or feel free to share here. We are here for each other. Keep us posted. God bless.
