today is our last day! We are at sea with calm waters. I am proud of myself for doing this! But also sad that we didn’t have great weather. I wish we had more sun. I’m also sad because I think this sparked my love for travel again (which is great!)! But sad because I don’t know when I’ll have the opportunity to go on trips like this again (may try an all inclusive resort next instead of cruising haha).

last day :(
Wow! That's gorgeous! I had no idea what Bermuda looked like. So proud of you! Happy that the seas are calm. Have a great trip back 😀
Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing!
So encouraging to read your experiences from the initial fears and apprehensions.. to mission accomplished… the journey that overcomes any fear .. starts with those first steps… not letting those self defeating thoughts take control of your hopes and dreams is the blueprint to being more confident. Live life to the fullest and fullness by any means possible… best wishes Uk.
I am so happy for you!!! I hope you make travel a goal and start planning for a future trip. I am hoping to take a trip (possibly a cruise) next year and right now I am saving up for it.
The web site below is something I found about travel bargains. I saw a presentation by the site's owner, and he is always looking for bargains. His suggestion is look for the best bargain, do not pick a particular location and timeframe. He takes his entire company on a trip each year. They go all over the world. To be transparent, I have not tried the site yet, but I am encouraged.
It looks as if you’ve got the travel bug lol there’s no stopping you now 👍
Hi Daisy425,You are now a bona fide travel 🌟 star.
Overcoming anxiety like you did proved 2 things:
1. that mostly our fears are overcome by doing things and
2. that we are prone to overestimating the danger in our situation.
Travel safe back home 🐈⬛
Black Cat I have to play devil's advocate here....I wish I could agree with that statement that our fears are mostly overcome by doing things...my fears sometimes are actually intensified by doing something.....as for overestimating the danger in our situations...I don't have a choice but to overestimate the danger in my situation....and although I try to be very proactive in my decisions......I have no control over other people and how they react to things..i have to be reactive......goes back to wanting to control things I have absolutely no control over...and in the majority of my anxiety problems....the choice I make can be a life or death choice....
Hi Mizzou7016,Thank you for the reminder that we are all in a different place on our mental health journeys.
I just wanted to acknowledge Daisy had climbed a huge anxiety mountain and seen the beauty on the other side as seen in her photos from the cruise.
The main thing is that you went....you took some me time...you enjoyed the breathtaking moments that you had.....Would love to have that view...you rested your brain and ENJOYED yourself.....when was the last time you did that..
you've conquered the sea😁
I am so happy for you!!!
