Try researching to see if you can do teletherapy online. I have agoraphobia too but I’m slowly trying to face that fear. I went to the grocery store today with my husband and my kids and I made it through it. I generally don’t like to take meds either especially because I just recently went to the hospital and detoxed off Xanax. I was using it as prescribed but my body still got addicted to it and it made my anxiety 100x worse. I am on an antidepressant now for almost 3 weeks. I feel that right now I need it. I understand you don’t want to get dependent on it but there’s nothing wrong if you need it now. It’s always something you can be taken off of later on. You can try breathing exercises, journaling, meditation. Someone else on here mentioned an app called insight timer. I downloaded it yesterday and it has a lot of things on there. Try to stay positive and know that anxiety will not hurt you. If you need to chat I’m on here all the time. ❤️
I'm so sorry you're struggling. I also completely get that therapy can be expensive. I know that Betterhelp (online therapy) offers financial aid. You just answer some questions about your household and income when you're selecting a billing plan and the system will calculate your aid. I found they're pretty easy to work with. I use the financial aid option.
