Seeing people in masks, the 6 feet markers on the floor, the anxiety on peoples faces, no one talking to each other, no one smiling. It makes me so sad I disassociate. I know it’s for the best and I’ve been quarantining for a month. But this makes me so sad. It’s a ghost town around here.. can anyone relate?

Going to the store makes me sad
Dear sarah, it is very sad indeed. Here in the U.S. we have never experienced this
before at least to this extent. It is a learning experience for all of us in that we mustn't
take things for granted. We must learn to live in the moment and enjoy all we have right
now. No amount of money can buy us our health. This time of our lives puts all of us
on an even playing ground. Just as with Anxiety, the virus has no boundaries. It doesn't
discriminate.
Yes, it is sad, but this too shall pass. And even if it's never like it use to be, we will adapt.
Human nature is strong and has survived through many horrific tragedies throughout
the centuries. We need to turn our sadness to those who have lost their lives. We also
need to THANK all the essential workers helping us get through this. For this we can
be grateful. Stay safe and stay well sarah. xx
Yes, I think the fear is doing a lot of damage to peoples mental health, you see everyone gets the fear, but everyone wont get the virus. They are creating fear by not tell the people that most people who have a good healthy immune system will not get it ! xx
