My 2nd migraine

This past week has been calm , until today , i suddenly had an attack that i used to get , a migraine attack, i suddenly started seein flashing lights, and get these blind soits, I COULDNT SEE , i tried to be as calm as possible but i got heart palpitation like never before, my heart litteraly was squeezing constantly and i couldnt take a breath never in my life i thought i was in danger as that moment

My palms would tingle and be numb to a point where i cant sense anything with them or hold anything etc.. , sometimes my speech would be affected , then the severe migraine headache on one side starts

I used to get migraines every 6 months and became after that more frequent, i tried my best this time to get better

My last attack was on january 9th and i was so careful this time im relaly scared i wouldnt know how to get better because i dont know the cause anymore

Im in constant fear, what if i was driving then , or taking an exam, or giving a presntation , i dont wanna live in fear , my blood pressure was 143/80 when i came home, maybe thats why my heart almost gave out today and kept squeezing so hard to a point i was going to faint , i just really feel lost , im retracing my day thinking what could have caused this

This is one of the main things that caused my anxiety and triggered it

Make an appointment with your Doctor, to explain the problems you are going through.

You need to be seen and prescribed something that will help you when you reach the problems you desribe

Good Luck

I really plan to , my family always belittle me , telling me its nothing, or blame it on anxiety and say “oh just dont worry” like that helps, they are extremely ignorant about anxiety disorders and reached a point where i dont want to tell them anything, but im planning to schedule an appointment with a neurologist to see what will happen

I was happy that it had become less frequent , but i still dont want to live like this

borderriever is right, but you have 2 problems going on I think. You need to talk to your PCP and/or counselor if you have one regarding the anxiety AND you need to talk to a neurologist (your PCP should be able to refer you to one if you don't have one yet) to discuss the migraines.

Thank you , im taking care of the anxiety thing honestly, for the last 10 months i have been working on my mental health and finally reaching a point where im almost back to normal, i go on weeks without any anxiety attacks , and anxiety is less severe and frequent

My main problem is the migraines, which i decided not to go get it checked out because it had become less frequent , but now since i got another attack i think im going to try to convince my mom to go to a neurologist
