I get this frequently, then have to walk around all day with the emotional aftermath even though it's not "real"
Exactly and it messes up your whole day
Then you wonder how responsible you are for feeling the way you do. Your subconscious isn't under your control but it's integral to you.
I experience this often. I struggle to separate my dreams from reality. I am sorry you have to experience this too.
I do feel that a lot lately. Just recently I dreamed I was in a place that caught on fire. I was trying to save some things. It's scary and it really felt so real. Well, I've been in a very stressful situation lately too.
Stress can do a lot to the mind i guess
Definitely. My nightmares are so common during these times.
Hi Speak_softly,
I have suffered with night terrors (when/if I get any sleep) for over 40 years. Like I'm there it's happening. Unfortunately I have to take my Quetiapine which unfortunately has a side effect of doing this so it doubles it for me but I need to take them for my PTSD, Psychotic episodes & the rest. Alot of screaming, crying comes out of me & my daughters came to stay & were real shocked & saddened that I still go through this. I'm drenched & my hearts coming out of my mouth😫 It messes with you & I don't think I'll ever get use to it but not much I can do about it.
