anxiety in the morning in bed

What are your symptoms? Anxiety made my upset stomach worse and tums were and all day and night thing.

Tingling in arms and legs , minor panic attack
Ok, a sorry from me. All i have is, if you can afford it, go see a medical dr and ask, drugs from a dr might help. I might have broke the HU rules...
It's not for everyone, but I started using the Calm app in the morning (I use it for bed too) My anxiety is bad at wake up as well, and they have an ease into the day meditation. I turn it on with my morning alarm and it's something you can listen to laying in bed
I get the same thing. I know the cure for anxiety is action, so I feel better when I get up and get going. But that's so much easier said than done.
I have dreadful morning anxiety. It eases some mornings but it keeps me from doing so many things. My therapist tells me I have to try to ignore it and try to get out. It is so hard to do when I feel like I am going to faint.
Hi. I've struggled with anxiety and other things for many many years. The Calm app helps me, you might want to check it out! Helps quiet your mind and focus.Felt really weird at first but it helps you might want to check it out, I wish you the best
Hello Teiaspain1 and Welcome to a very caring and supportive community.
As anxiety wants us to feel alive and ready for a new day, it may hit us with
physical symptoms that are bothersome. Trying not to be alarmed is the key.
Using breathing exercises can help release the adrenaline surge of the day.
As knitlover64 stated, action helps change your mind thoughts. Having a
small goal for the day (how ever small) will allow you to rev up the engine
and get moving. Start your day with a glass of water to alleviate the
dehydration of the night. Come on over to the community and lean on us
for the support you need. Take our hand and know that it's going to be okay.
You are Safe, you are Cared about, you are a Winner. Breathe xx
What you are describing is anticipatory anxiety which is quite common and it's caused by your anxious thoughts that happen so quickly you're probably not even aware of them. The truth is that anxiety is a paradox, the more you fight, struggle or deny it the more it persists so the solution is to get ok with the anxious feelings and get on with your day. I found the DARE Anxiety book helpful along with their youtube channel. i also subscribed to their phone app as I was healing. The other thing is to try to determine why and where your anxiety stems from and seek the appropriate therapy if needed inorder to fully heal.
