Breakfast for my ears

I was just reading about Isinatra's dream. I never have disturbing dreams. I'm always doing something interesting, like my subconscious is giving me time off from my troubles. My brain also gives me a treat to wake up to most days. I call it breakfast for my ears, do you hear music playing in your head in the morning?

Today's breakfast for my ears: Song by Golden Earring, TWILIGHT ZONE

Oh my word! I dedicated that song to my niece back in 1981 and I even bought the album on vinyl The Visitors. Beautiful lyrics.

That’s pretty nice to wake to enjoyable music in your head. It happens for me sometimes, but not enough. I wonder if there’s a way to set it up to happen.

With me it just happens, not sure how it could be encouraged

I've tried to analyze what inspirers the music I find myself humming to but like today's tune, twilight zone, I can't remember the last time I was listening to it

Music is funny that way. Atleast for me. Something just pops up out of nowhere, but certain music, I think, stays with us forever in the recesses of our brains. Something can trigger a certain tune.

I agree, some music is just, for ever ingrained into our memories. I have Dave Brubeck: Take Five as my ring tone, because it is one of those tunes
