No energy or interest!

For the last month I can’t seem to get anything done! Just lie around and my housework isn’t getting done! Just bored with everything! I take Effexor and lately some klonopin! I have a tendency to worry! I can worry about the darndest stuff! Anyone else?

Hi barbasol you are like me were both on venlafaxine (effexor) amongst other medications I hate it some times I want to do things but I find it hard to I seem to spend my life on the sofa! I just done seem to have the energy to do anything! The worrying part I do my self i work about my dad and my siblings it can make me ill sometimes! I've been going through the same thing. I barely get out of bed each day. I go to bed around 4 or 5am and sleep until 3pm. Maybe eat something and go back to bed. I might actually shower late at night, but can go multiple days without leaving my house or talking you anyone. Not sure how to get out of this vicious cycle.

I never have much energy in the morning! Never wake up and get right at things! Wish I could enjoy the mornings but I don’t! This retirement situation isn’t so good!

Sorry you have these symptoms too! I could easily stay in bed but I have a husband but my husband won’t let me! He has put up with my moodiness and lack of energy for years! I am lucky he has stayed with me!
