Early june, my doctor and I decided it was time for me to switch from the current antidepressant I was on (Venalafaxine) to a new one (Burpropion). She down doseed me from the current antidepressant however never mentioned how bad the withdrawl symptoms could be. 24 hours after the last pill, I got

Will Estradiol 0.025 patch for hot flushes cause cancer to come out of hiding?
Hi My husband has been taking
Effexor
for hot flushes and it does not seem to be effective any longer . He increased the dose from 37.5 to 75 mg and that did not seem to make a difference. He has been off
Effexor
now and the oncologist is saying to try the low dose Estradiol patch .

Help with fatigue
He also is taking
Effexor
75mg for the hot flushes which has decreased them . He keeps busy in day and exercises as much as possible. Has Zoledex injection every 3 months and Nubeqa daily. Finished chemo on April 18. The fatigue is brutal for him and he is struggling.

So I did well transitioning from
Effexor
to Zoloft. Some bad dizziness and stuff but I managed. Now I’m kinda struggling with feeling sad… mainly I think it’s due to being on a low dose and getting Zoloft built up in my system.

Effexor vestibular migraine
I have been researching
Effexor
for use in vestibular migraine, it appears to work well however i have seen alot of information that says it is a very hard drug to come off of? Has anyone successfully come off this and your vestibular migraine treated?

Help, I need to know I'm not alone
I was on the same two medications for 24 years,
effexor
and trazadone, and managed my anxiety/depression/panic well my whole life. Long story short, I had a medical episode at the beginning of the year that necessitated I switch medications.

Weaning Woes
I am 60 with MDD and currently trying to wean off of
Effexor
XR 150 mg (have been on this for 20 years) and having a horrible time going off. I would have petit mal seizures in the past if off for 48 hours.

Effexor with Wellbutrin
I’m currently attending therapy to work through this, but my doctor recommended that I add Wellbutrin to my existing medication,
Effexor
.
Effexor
has done great for me, prior to this issue, and I am hopeful the addition of Wellbutrin will lift my anxious fog. Has anyone tried this combination?

Seeking support
I Started with zoloft,
effexor
, lexapro. Most recently i was prescribed a wellbutrin/viibryd combo for the past 10 years i think. I had kind of leveled off for quite sometime. I hadnt been taking the wellbutrin for about 6 months and was doing half pills of the viibryd.

Vestibular Migraine/ PPPD Or Something Else
I spent over 10 months on
Effexor
, which did nothing except make me very nauseous. None of the meds did anything. I had to stop most of them due to adverse side effects. Surely if it was truly VM then it would have responded to something.

Has anyone here had the experience of taking meds for ADHD while trying to keep blood pressure under control?
I had to stop taking
Effexor
and Bupproprion in the past because they both increased my blood pressure (Bupproprion was during pregnancy). Has anyone here had the experience of taking meds for ADHD while trying to keep blood pressure under control?

changing from sifrol
In addition Iam on the antidepressant
Effexor
which I understand can react badly with Sifrol. It seems to me that it highly probable that most of my problems are a result of these drugs.i am going to request to come off Sifrol and change my treatment .

sleep
I started
Effexor
about a month ago. My old antidepressant had really fizzled out and I like… or am learning how to like
Effexor
. I enjoy how it has helped me but the sleeping situation is a bit rough. I am literally pulled from a deep sleep into this weird feeling state….

Feeling isolated because of medication use
i have diagnosed depression (and anxiety) and have finally found meds that help me:
effexor
and lithium. i am so so grateful that i have had access to treatment that has ultimately saved my life, but i still feel this extreme isolation because of being on a medication that is so incredibly stigmatized
