I miss my therapist

Summer has messed up my schedule. The girls are out of school and it’s too expensive to pay for babysitting and therapist. Plus they have their summer activities. I don’t have anyone to talk to otherwise. Some friends who are just as busy or not close enough to really tell what is bugging me and it’s a lot. I wish it was like when I was little and had a best friend who I would talk to everyday going over every little minutiae of my day. Now I got to pay someone to listen and give advice..

I totally understand somehow, my parents didnt want to finance my theraoy sessions so its a bit hard to suffer panic and anxiety attacks without having any support or someone to talk to .. , if you need anything to talk about im all ears ;) , good luck with everything and i wish you the best

What about free support groups in your area? Could you go to those?

There isnt any honestly, and my family are no where near supportive and the last thing i want is for them to keep treating me like im little just because im weaker mentally than others.

My family didn’t understand when I was young. I was in college when I was diagnosed. I had student health insurance through the college and started therapy and medications then and then off and on after depending on my own health insurance through work. This is a good place to talk with people and sometimes you connect with someone on one on one. I’m here for you too like you said for me.

I saw on your profile you suffer from low blood pressure and get dizzy sometimes when you stand too quickly. I have the same problem and still not sure how to get rid of it.

To me it always bothered before even developing anxiety and panic attacks, but it worsened after i started using breathing techniques and ways to keep my self calm , i guess it lowered my blood pressure more, or it caused an imbalance of some nutrients because that is some of thenresponses i have gotten here that could wxplain why is this happening

As for myself Kevin, I have noticed my b/p does go down

after deep breathing. x

Lately I’ve been trying to drink more water using this app called plant nanny and I think drinking or trying to drink suffient water helps. I think it may be due to an imbalance of nutrients too. Trying to figure out which ones I need

You are right fallen leaf in that hydrating is very important in keeping blood pressure stable as well as eliminating some of the heart palps. Thanks for sharing xx

I feel for you! I am in the same situation. First, my therapist moved away. Then, I found someone new but, my babysitter moved away! I only got three sessions and haven’t been able to go back. I feel so alone too! No one to talk to really, besides my husband. It’s hard. Hopefully, we can return to therapy soon!

fallen leaf, you need that "me time". You can't hold all the emotions in. Talking

and sharing can help. Know that we are always here to listen when you need a
