Just learned that I have empathy introvert personality. I have finally found where I fit in. EVERYTHING this group says on facebook is finally answering so many questions that I've had all thru out life. Iv e never fit in since preschool!! 46 years old now and still don't fit in anywhere!! I have always wanted to be alone farthest away from ppl but I'm a caregiver for the elderly. Sounds kinda weird to me now. Elderly are the only, ppl I get along with since 15 when I started doing this job. I care so very much for them!!! I understand how they feel and just want to be there for them anyway I can. Anyhoo, is there anyone else with this type of personality? I was hoping there was๐๐โ Everyone on here has been so caring that's why I thought some of you might be one too!!??! Hoping you all have a great weekendโบโบ Picture of my pup Maddie doing good but omg she's beyond protective of me from moms dog Bailey.

Hi lovedogs
I love dogs too by the way but cannot have another one since my beloved spaniel died 4 years ago, I travel too much and I do not want to go through the loss of a pet any more. I now borrow other people's dogs and mind them which I find is great.
I really like your photo by the way. Where abouts do you live? I am guessing it is in the USA, I would be really interested to hear more about where you are and in particular the kind of wildlife you see and if you grow things in your garden or yard.
I will tell you more about where I live in the UK if you are interested.Your dog looks really cute.
I do have alot of empathy for others and when I was young was probably a similar personality type to you but now I have got older I have got much more confident and extrovert and do not have a problem fitting in.
Be great to hear from you if you want to write. I love nature and scenery and am really interested to hear about other parts of the world, wildlife and other animals including dogs.
I mind a Labrador and two beautiful cockerpoos on and off.
Very best wishes
Kim
I'm so very sorry about your loss of your spaniel!! I know that pain cause I lost my shep lab years ago but I miss her everyday!!!
The pic was taken at my moms home in Hurricane, UT. Coyotes, lizards, snake and wild rabbits. Too hot here for growing a garden. Its the high desert with temps in the 100s. Its not too unbearable thru winter months. I love talking with ppl from UK. Your so polite unlike ppl from the USA!!! I'm so glad you replied!! Love talking with all the lovely ppl on here. That's so great you've got dogs you can care for!!๐ I know they truly appreciate being able to be with you too!!!!
Yes! We do have a lot in common. I know just how you feel. Sometimes my empathy gets in the way of me making decisions. I feel so passionate about animals and I am an introvert. Glad to hear from you!
lovedogs, I love you for who I've know you to be over time. A caring, loving
person. I believe that having met you through this forum has made me see the
real you in more important ways. Maddie is so lucky to have a dog mom like you.
And we are blessed to have you as part of our virtual family. Enjoy the weekend.
Sending you hugs my friend. xx
Awwwww Agora1 your a true blue friend!!! I love you so much!! Its so nice to hear from you again. I haven't been on here for over a month due to being in severe pain. I'm having a shoulder replacement on Aug 6th! Yikes right! I'm sending bigger HUGS your way!!! Your beyond wonderful, caring, nice and genuine!! I'm glad I've met you and others on here. Never met anyone as nice as the folks like you on this site in person. Its beyond refreshing to be able to know such nice folks such as you and others on here. Maddie has been a lifesaver and I love her bunches. Please let me know how you've been!!! I miss ya!!! Hope you had a blessed and wonderful day!!!๐๐
Oh my gosh lovedogs, a shoulder replacement? I can't even imagine the kind
of pain you must be in. I am so very sorry. Did you get hurt at work?
I'm glad you have Maddie but hope you will have someone to care for you
after surgery. I wish I could be there with you. Maybe not physically but know
that I'm here to support you emotionally before and after surgery.
You are such a good person. I wish you well my friend. Hope we talk again
before August 6th. We're all here to support you through this. With love xx
Oh its no biggie cause I knew it was coming cause I've had 2 rotator cuff surgeries on left shoulder and 1 on the right. Both shoulders have arthritis. Left one has bone on bone cracking and snapping when I move it, bone spurs and something else. That's the one getting replaced. He doesn't want to cause I'm only 46!! Yikes๐ฑ๐จ lol!! No injury from working just years of pain and now its time to just go thru with replacement so it won't hurt anymore! I can't even imagine no pain! Luckily I've been at moms house for almost a month already and will stay till I'm able to take care of myself at home. Recovery time is short so that's great cause I'm only doing homecare so no heavy care. More companionship, food prep, showers and dressing etc. Light duties unlike at the memory care center. Oh Agora1 your so very sweet and I know how AWESOME you would be to have as a paramedic!!! Your amazing with, that โค of gold!!! Ppl were lucky to see you come help them in their time of need. I can only imagine how caring and giving you were to,each patient!!! HUGS! I love the support you, give to all of us!! You write so darn well. With that genuine heart you have is very comforting to all of us on here!! โค I keep you,in my thoughts and hope you are doing good!!! Let me know if you need to talk or for someone to just listen. Ill be here for you 100%% Thanks a bunch for the support! That's so nice to know folks care!๐๐ Will chat before surgery for sure๐ many HUGS and love ya sista!!! โ
Thanks for your reply. It was great, I can picture the desert with the coyotes and lizards and snakes. Do you often get dangerous ones like rattlesnakes. I would think that they could be a risk to dogs quite a bit. People as well but dogs may be less wary. We used to take our Spaniel with us all over Europe in our campervan. He was a really well travelled dog and had been to around 10 different countries. When we took him to the south of Spain it was a bit like desert and we had to be careful incase he got too many prickles in his fur. Do you get that problem with Maddie?
He went to France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy and Slovenia etc. He was a great dog to have in the mountains as he would pull me up but walk very slowly at my side coming down.
Really sorry to hear you have been in so much pain with your shoulder. I hope it all goes well.
My very best wishes.
Kim
Um my dad has run into a few non poisonous snakes but I don't know for sure which snakes he saw. Yes snakes like that would be scary around moms dog Bailey but never had a problem thus far thankfully!! Maddie is having a straight,up blast here at my moms house. I unfortunately live in a small condo. Not as gorgeous as it is out here. She lives on a new golf course being built. Paved trails to walk on up thru, the golf course with plenty of waterfalls and a creek of water running next to the trails. Its really beautiful.
I'm so jealous you've been to so many beautiful countries! Wish I was your dog! Lol. Seems like he had a beautiful blessed life with, you guys!! Your spaniel sounds like a true blessing and a wonderful dog. More like our best friend โค ๐พ๐พ
The pain will be gone soon once its replaced. Yay ๐ My tooth I got extracted is what's killing me. Swelling of my face is gone but there's a hard knot on jaw or cheeks not sure. Going,to dentist today to see if its infected or something else going on. It will all work, out in the long run๐๐
Best wishes to you,as well!!# HUGS๐

Hi Kacey.
Thanks for your lovely reply.
I really hope your tooth will be better soon. If it is an infection they should give you some antibiotics.
Your mom's place sounds beautiful, I love the sound and the sight of water, it is so relaxing and attracts lots of wildlife so it is good for the environment.
We had a holiday home in Spain for 13 years, just sold it infact around a year ago. It was in the south of Spain and alot of the countryside was like desert. I loved the contrast between the often beautiful barren rocky landscape and the water rushing through mountain gorges or in beautiful Moorish gardens of the ancient Palaces. We had a traditional cottage in typical Spanish style in a small village surrounded by olive groves. We were not very successful growing much in the garden out there because we were not there enough to keep it watered but we did have a beautiful grapevine covered terrace. Neighbours often gave us the wonderful vegetables they grew however.
All the local cats would come and sit around on our terrace because my daughter and her friend, who we often took on holiday with us, kept on feeding and stroking them because they looked quite skinny.
We took our Spaniel Colin out there and he was fine except he could not go in the rather overgrown back garden or he got the prickles in his fur I mentioned. We used to drive into the mountains to picnic and swim in the mountain lakes, our house was in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, very near the coast.
I will do a post with a picture of Colin as I cannot attach it to this reply and I have told a few people about him now.
Hope you have got your tooth sorted by now.
Very best wishes
Kim
