Tightness in throat and chest with anxiety meds

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced tightness in their throat or chest with anxiety meds? I was very successful with Paxil for 20 years and all of a sudden it stopped working. I felt like someone was choking me and I couldn’t breathe. Thinking it was a medical issue, I had tons of testing done. Finally I decided to switch off Paxil. It helped but then I tried Lexapro, Effexor and Celexa - nothing changed. Now I’m on Pristiq and was doing ok but 5 months in and I still have trouble breathing. I’m a runner so this is frustrating!! Any body else have this experience or suggestions?

I think I experience something similar, but for me it’s anxiety related and not necessarily anxiety med related.

I’m sorry for your pain and suffering.

Thank you for being here ✨
