Anxiety depression and meds

I'm having a rough few months of anxiety and depression and I feel like this is all because my dr suggested changing meds a few months back. I went from lexapro which was working but not great to trintellix which was ok but caused alot of nausea. He suggested a genome test which then led to me bring on vraylar which I did not do well on. Now I'm back on lexapro 10mg but I've felt worse these 2 weeks since I started. Had anyone else experienced this? I know SSRI's can increase anxiety in the beginning before they kick in but I thought I'd see some improvement by now

One theory maybe by adding and deleting meds and going back on Lexapro is causing a longer period of time before you get results. Hang in there my friend.

Thanks I guess that's possible. I just feel like I've been worse since I started the lexapro 2 weeks ago. I'm also using klonopin to sleep and that has me concerned because it can be so addicting and from what I've read it can counter the good the ssri is doing

Yeah I read that as well. Your doc ever consider an alternate to Klonopin? I take Trazodone but there are a lot of drugs out there for sleep (also used for anxiety and PTSD symptoms). I have treatment resistant major depressive disorder and the current meds I take (Cymbalta, Wellbutrin and Trazodone) are doing the trick. I feel so much better. I guess sometimes it takes a combo of the right meds for you to see results.

She gave me seroquel to take at night but first night I took it it didnt help much. I'm glad you found the right combo to help you. My depression had normally been mild like a dysthymia but recently got much worse. I still think I should've never messed with going off the lexapro and tried so many other meds. I think my brains just messed up right now
