I'm not sure quite what is happening, but when I clicked into HU today, The posts were clicking up and cancelling themselves every few seconds, so many have been lost.
Any ideas what this could be? I am so behind with my computer knowledge now (XP was the last operating system I was comfortable with.)
Cheers, Midori

There is constant maintenance on this site lately. And posts come and go for what ever reasons....it happens to me all the time....I go to a post ....it won't open....then it disappears.... lots of pop up stuff...lots of data mining... I'm afraid it's not your system so much as it is the site.
Windows 10 is actually very similar to the old style of windows, not like any of the awful stuff that came out like Win. 8, Vista, etc. It's worth the upgrade it you have enough ram, hard drive, and CPU capacity.... but no matter how souped up the system...we are still only as fast as our internet speed is in the long run.
Yeah... your son will know what to do then... most gamers are up on speed and knowing how to obtain it. If you use a lot of data mining filters like I do, signing in will seem a bit glitchy at first because I'm blocking a lot of the access to my data, as much as I can anyway, so it will be a bit jumpy till it's done with all the checks and balances. But otherwise, yeah, what I was saying is also happening, they are always upgrading and adjusting.
Hi Midori! That sounds really frustrating. It could be a glitch with the site or an issue with your browser. Maybe try clearing your cache or using a different browser to see if that helps!
