Losing a part of my family

So this morning when I woke up, I received a text from my dad telling me that my dog had passed away this morning. I've had her for 14 years, and I can't remember a time that she hasn't been in my life. And now she's just gone and I wasn't there to say goodbye to her. I already miss her so much it feels like a part of me is missing.

I’m so very sorry. I know how that feels. I cried so much when my bird died. It was tough. Hang in there!!

i am so sorry for your loss! i lost my dog back in july and some people dont understand that its like losing a family member. it is okay to be sad and to mourn. but just know that time will heal you and she is in a better place. my dog was very sick before her death so it is comforting knowing she isnt suffering anymore. i hope you are doing okay and start to feel better soon💕

I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my beloved springer last year at 14. She was a wonderful companion. Take your time to mourn and remember her for the joy and love she brought you. Hugs!!

Sorry for your loss 😢 wish words could bring you the comfort that you need but I know it won’t but just know she lived the her best life because you and your family gave her the best life and she went happy and that’s all a dog asks for love and a happy life.
