Need people’s opinions , would you consider 8 stone 10 (122lb) on the chubby side for a 5 ft 3 woman?

I don't understand 8 stone 10? Chubby? I would only care about her personality. Chubby, skinny wouldn't matter to me

I agree with countryboy.

Plus, no, that is not chubby.

Sent you the link to work out your own BM1. I put yours in and it came out around 21.6 BMI. The healthy range is between 18-25 so yours is fine.

I looked at several heath sites. Not a single one shows you to be overweight. You’re right in the ideal range.

Honey, 122 is good for 5’3. I don’t think anyone would consider that chubby. Don’t worry, I’m sure you’re beautiful:)

Aw thankyou so much :) I blame social media for my insecurities about weight

What are your worries about your weight? I think that is where you should begin. Are you generally happy w your life? Is there something else going on? Do u have self esteem issues? Can you start there?

I’m heavier than you and still healthy. I stopped weighing myself a while ago.

What does it matter? Are you healthy? Are you strong? Do you feel good?

Elleeee profile image

I feel good until I weigh myself :(

I meant do you feel healthy?

Stop weighing yourself.

I only do it a few times a year. There are a lot of variables: muscles vs fat vs bone density

Yes I used to weigh 7 stone 10 for a very long time that’s when I felt at my best. However I feel healthy but I’m low about my appearance

Are you happy with what you weigh? Do you feel good about yourself? It is not up to you to fit into societys rules about stick figure people. Concentrate more on being a good person. Take care of yourself and the others in your life. If you are happy with yourself, that is all that counts. Have a blessed day!

No, your weight is perfectly fine. Don't be hard on yourself. I'm sure you look great:)

With weight discussions being prevalent in my house of four daughters, I have learned it is not so much the weight as the way you fit in your clothes. Age is a factor as well; older women should weight a little more than a young women. Two of four of my daughters are solid and firm naturally, and the other two are not as firm with the same exercise regiment. These things and more will factor in the number on the scale. Feeling good about yourself at any weight is the most important thing.

The answer is simple... Don't weigh yourself. If you're healthy, feel good and the only time you feel bad is when you weigh yourself then don't do it anymore. Don't let society tell you how you're supposed to look. Instead of looking in the mirror and obsessing over flaws, find all the features about yourself that stand out, you like, or find attractive. Once you find them, find a way to highlight those features this way you walk around with a little more confidence. We can all give you our opinions on your size but at the end of the day all that matters is how you feel about yourself.

CHUBBY?????? In what world do you live! :) I live in the subtropical area of the world where tiny bathing suit type models are around all year. Have no idea who put that thought in your head, but box them on the ears for me. You are beautiful at that weight. So tired of the paper thin young women I see. :) xoxo

It depends on your bone structure-small, medium or large. I had heard that a healthy weight is 100 pounds for the 1st 5 feet and 5 pounds per inch after. So a 5'3" woman would be 115 pounds. I don't think 122 lbs is chubby at all. I don't know if someone said that to you but they can pound sand! The pressure to be ultra-thin is promulgated by the fashion industry and social media. Just ignore it and enjoy your body and health your own way!

No! I was about that when pregnant aged 35 and the midwife told me I was under weight. I think these charts they produce can be ridiculous
