Disappointed

I usually don't write posts in this vein, but after what happened today with a member of this forum, I am truly disappointed with this forum. I won't go into particulars or mention the member who has been chased from this place, but I will say that those who had a hand in that member leaving should totally ashamed of themselves. This is supposed to be a place where people can come, share their experiences and to offer support to others in a supportive, positive environment. To chase someone away simply because you don't like them is unforgivable. We need to be better than our base instincts to mock, ridicule, or make fun of. I am seriously considering leaving myself because if one person gets chased, then who's to say I won't be the next 'target'. Shame on those who acted so abhorrently.

What happened...? Will you pm me cuz I’d like to know... thanks for standing up for the one who was chased away. It’s tricky here, we are fragile at times. There’s tough love and then there’s cruelty. Sounds like the latter.

Read my post from earlier. I agree with you. Like Anxiety_59 u gotta just rise above it. You can. The member hasnt permanently left just so u know. Everything is being taken care of.

I couldn’t agree with you more. I defended the person in question but it just brought the attacker after me as well. Not that it bothers me because I’m willing to help someone when they are unjustly attacked. But don’t leave the site. That only lets the bad guys win. We need more people who are willing to stand up and say enough is enough.

I'm not leaving, but I want everyone to know how disappointed and mad I am. We have to put up with enough B-S in this life, the last thing we need is to have it in a safe place like this.

I’m glad you aren’t leaving. Honestly I’m really glad you said something. I was privy to the entire event and it was inexcusable.

I can be blamed for not being around more than I should be, but I will not tolerate bullying of any sort. I've reported two members for engaging in bullying and intimidation.

I agree, but maybe your Not getting both sides? To chase someone off just because their NOT LIKED,??? Something more to it than that? has to be? If you choose to leave that's your decision? But if you're getting any help from this site besides this ONE incident that has you upset, then they WIN??? I have been bullied on this site because of an opinion someone didn't LIKE? We're Not going to always like everyone, just let people have their opinion and move On,. You're Not going to change their Minds. I've gotten more support from this site than negative.

Sorry people this forum has turned into a bunch of YENTAS. If you can’t plug in and help people and just want to judge you have to much idle time on your hands. I think Brian’s right on. Won’t be hearing from me anymore I have more important things to do

Do remember that there can be members of this forum who have multiple personalities and engage in conversations with themselves that give the impression that there are several people communicating when in fact there is only one using different identities.

I know this has gone on in the past but have no proof just suspicions. So all I say is don't take everything at face value.

Some do this multiple personality thing just for amusement while others are experiencing multiple personality disorder.
