Encouraging words.

Every day is a new day to start fresh! This past week I went on vacation with my family. We haven’t been able to do this in about 3 years. Before this vacation, it had been going up and down for me. I would have my good days and then the depression and anxiety would hit me like a ton of bricks. This vacation opened my eyes to all I have to be thankful for in life. I was in awe of it really. It finally clicked in my head that life is something to be thankful for, and we are not promised tomorrow. My family and the friends I have have truly always been there for me and I cannot express how much that means to me. One thing my therapist told me was when I got put into a situation that brought on anxiety. She told me to put the situation into three categories. First, category was what is the worst that can come out of this situation. Second, what is the best thing that can come out of this situation. Thirdly, what is the reality of the situation. This has truly helped me more than anything. So I want to encourage and help someone with this information. It’s all about your mindset. Remember to just take a breath and look into the situation with a clear mind. When you’re thoughts are all over the place we make mistakes or rush into things without thinking clearly. So in saying all of this I hope I have at least helped one person. Life is hard, but YOU are STRONGER!!!!

Oh, I’m the one in front with black hair, wearing the black romper with pink flowers. 🤷🏻‍♀️😄

Hi blairm90, nice picture of you and your family. I'm glad that taking that vacation together made you realized how blessed you are. Life is so precious. That's why anxiety

is so cruel in the days it steals from us with family and friends. Time for all of us to open our eyes and see what we have in our lives. Thank you for sharing an uplifting post. :) xx
