Hi Lakewood,
If it's a medical emergency, dial 999. Otherwise, you can get fast medical advice by dialling 111.
John
It’s not an emergency. It just makes it even harder to do the things I need to do...& it seems to come out of nowhere!
Well, call 111, young Lakewolf 🤗.
They're open 24 hours and someone with medical expertise will be able to advise you on what might be going on. If nothing else, it will help to talk to someone and get some reassurance it's not a side-effect of Klonopin. The call is free.
No use laying awake all night worrying. Phone 111 and worry them instead 😂! Lakewolf, they might send a nice nurse to mop your brow.
Hey, hold up. I need a nice nurse. Got to go. Think I will dial 111 too 😜.
All the best,
John
Honey, I’m almost 60😂😂😂...& I’m in the US. The mental health system is horrible here...but I’m muddling through.
Lakewolf..you dont get over it, you learn to live with it..the telltale signs are there..that feeling you cant describe but you know the attack is coming...
Breath slow...into a paper bag...you hyperventilating not dying of oxygen deprivation...keep telling that to yourself...wipe your face with a cool cloth...and always remember...YOU WONT DIE...ALTHOUGH IT FEELS THAT WAY...Ive been living with panic and anxiety disorder for 30 years...find a good book by a reputable authour..read it...follow suggestions..it helps....thinking of you #hugz#
I learned to short circuit it by making it worse.
My therapist said she’d never seen anything like it.
I WAS triggered abt 6 months ago when out class (who had their 40th reunion in 2016) had a Fb chat. I was attacked by someone unmercifully...and, surprisingly, was defended by all of them on there. They were even worried abt how I was. That was a pleasant surprise... but I could’ve done without the panic attack.
Hope your feeling better now, the medication will help, you have a great resource with your wife, follow her advice, this will pass, don’t fight it use the medication, allow yourself to relax, when the anxiety starts, let it come it will pass.
I’m doing the best I can. With His help, I know I can get through anything.
Thank you so very much.
You are strong, and you’ve got this! I’m dealing with anxiety 24/7 until my meds kick in. I’ve got my HR out of whack and my BP up 🤦🏻♀️ I’m just waiting for it to hurry up and get better.
