I have been quiet lately. I have been working on myself, finally seeing a therapist and got put on new medication, so now seeing how all of that works out. I still have this tense feeling in my throat all the time but I try to ignore it and go on with my day. I have been having a bigger appetite and have put on 10 pounds! I went from 94lb to 104lb and I am so proud of myself.

Good for you Marebear913. You're doing all the right things in allowing yourself to go forward. Take it one step at a time. That tense feeling in your throat will go away in time. Right now, it is just where you are holding your emotions. Give the medication some time to work, follow through with your therapist and it wouldn't hurt to start meditating.
Meditation and deep breathing can work along with your med in reducing stress as well as relaxing your muscles and lowering mind chatter. I'm proud of you as well. My best to you for continued success. Keep us updated. xx

Don't forget to give yourself a little pat on the back for doing so well Anxiety can be a persistent pain in the rear, but just stay positive and focused on the good things in life and you can beat back any ol' beastie that rears it's ugly head! I was struggling so badly with my weight.. I was scared to death bc I was down to 94lb and it took a LOT of strength and faith so keep going and slowing I started to put it on. I tried everything that I could to help. Talk to me any time if you would like advice or just to talk!

I bought this true mass protein shake stuff and drink breakfast essentials and it seems to help me..

On top of those drinks I literally snack on something- anything every hour. Peanuts, crackers, a bowl of cereal. Every little bit helps. I was eating once a day before with my drinks and still losing weight so I just kept snacking all throughout the day was finally getting some results. I still want to put on 10 more pounds.
