I’m back home after spending the week with my sister. It feels weird to be alone after not being alone for a week...
I keep having bad panic attacks...worse than I’ve ever had. My head pounds, my hands and face go numb, my heart beats so fast...it’s so scary. But it goes away. I have to keep telling myself that...it does go away.
I’ve been on fluoxetine for about 3 weeks now...and I just don’t feel like it’s working. Which is weird because I took fluoxetine before and it worked for me before I stopped taking it because I thought I was better....i should of never stopped taking it. My doctor started me on 10 mg. I have an appointment this week and I’m assuming she’ll move me up to 20 mg. Since that’s what i was taking before. ....hopefully then I’ll start feeling better.
I have a job interview tomorrow and I’m so nervous...send me good vibes.

Yes, see the doctor first. I to have issues with being alone. I went the prescribed route and ...not a fan. Using herbal supplements, exercise and I drink calming teas and lots of deep breathing. The breathing helped me driving the other day.🦋
It def takes awhile to adjust on these medications. I've been on fluoxetine before and am currently on it again, have been since Sept. It took me a good 4-5 wks for my body to adjust to it this time, whereas before when i went on it it seemed to help me right away. Everytime is different. I've been doing well for about 6 months now. I used to get bad panic attacks too. Almost once a day or every other day... that's how bad mine got. I've been panic attack free since Oct!! 😊 hang in there! You will get better! You just need time. I was also afraid to be alone at first too. I'm back to normal now tho. I am here if you ever need to talk! Sounds like we've def gone thru some similar things!
