Prozac and sex life

Does anyone else have issues with sex while on Prozac? I mean I get and maintain an erection but it's like my interest isn't all there for it anymore I've been on it about a month or month and a half. Is their a chance this can go away? I'm afraid of changing meds cuz of all the side effects that are possible . Without the meds I can go more than once in a day . It's weird I'm 24 . What can I do ?

Absolutely dulls your desire. I find that when you first start the meds it's bad and does get a little better but still diminished.

Hello, I was on Prozac until I built up a tolerance after 10 years. The pharmacy should have given you a print out with your prescription. Sorry but that is one of the side effects, you can go on google and look up side effects. I am sorry as you are young. You can also talk to your Dr. I wish you well. Sending Love & Peace. Sprinkle 1

You should absolutely talk to your doctor. There are other meds that probably agree with you better.

All ssri does that...ive been so much for sex honestly... And the only think i have never think that should happen to me is to ignore sex...but here we are im 30 years old and now im on ssri from 4 weeks for the second time... First time wasnt that bad but this time is strange... I have not interest at all about it... And ive been a sex lover and could think for hours about it... Its strange theyre destroyed our lifes with this medicines but cant do without them...its terrible... The most terrible thing to be on this medicines... Im 30 and think never going to build a family when that was my dream also...

With all due respect; but I wish I was going through that. Like that, I wouldn’t have to crave being sexually intimate with a woman. :/
