Hi I'm new here and I've lived with depression and anxiety for many years. At first it was really bad with panic attacks and difficulty driving over bridges. My family didn't really understand or even know how to react around me. I think they thought that I was a little off, I even wondered. So glad that I am past that stage, it was horrible. I've been through BMT so I think I have a pretty good handle on it. Though I realize that it is probably part of who I am and the way I learned to handle things in my family. After having a bad reaction to medication, I looked for other ways to help with my issues. I don't really get depressed anymore since I changed my diet and found what works for me, like listening to my body and getting enough rest and food when I need it. I hope that I will learn more things through this community and maybe even help someone else from my experiences.
