Hi
Can you have separation anxiety if the person is in the same room
Yes I believe you can have separation anxiety with the person in the
same room JonW. As a matter of fact with a lot of people in the room,
it can be lonely. That's because the loneliness comes from within you.
We make the happiness within us not another person. If the connection
is right, another person only helps to enhance our feelings. The rest must
come from ourselves. xx
Wise 🦉 woman...
I told my therapist Tues that I'd never want to go back to relive my past because I'd lose the wisdom I've accumulated along the way. Living in the past is like waiting to expire. Yearning for tomorrow is denying our present experience, stunting our potential.
Cultivating presence is priceless 🥰

Here is a post I made 2 years ago about my anxiety and other disruptive and intrusive thoughts that used to constantly hijack my mind.
I gave them all names and identities in order to begin taming them.
Have you given your anxiety a name?
I think you'll appreciate and relate to this.
Maybe it will help you too.
I really enjoyed your post
I just realized my depression has always had a name, Eeyore. JonW referrenced him, and I had a light bulb moment. Eeyore -- the stuffed version -- has been in my bedroom for years.
Tigger bounces, Pooh is content chasing heffalumps.
Eeyore says "What difference does it make? Hmm.
Google AI says he speaks with "characteristic glumness, and a touch of existential despair." Yup. That, just about, you should excuse the expression, nails it.
