I'm scared

Help! I've been on 3 mg of klonopin for four years and I'm scared of it. But the anxiety is so bad I can't stop it.

Why are you scared of this drug? Is it the fear of being addicted to it? I was recently prescribed .5mg twice daily, however I usually one take one in the morning and that works for me for now. Please give a little more detail as to why you are scared.

Benzodiazepines can be HIGHLY addictive yes and and this point both you and I are addicted to them. I would talk to your doctor about tapering off klonopin and possibly trying another benzodiazepine if they have worked for you in the past. Need to be open with your doctor and make sure you express all your concerns and issues.

Have you expressed this to your doctors?! You HAVE to let them know exactly how you are feeling and all your concerns. I would strongly suggest you doing that. Do you take anything other than klonopin?

Hello. I'm scared. i had to decide what was best for me. I didn't care what anybody said. push out the negatine people. do you feel its bad. if it works for you. Do your own research. I take klonipin. I love feeling normal. it it's bad for me. I'm still alive after over 15 years. 1mg in morning 2mg at night. take Charge you worrying taking it. You have high anexity without it. Trust yourself and your Dr. Decide for yourself. to do all you can to control your anexity. Have some joy and peace you deserve it.

Gosh, Im really sorry to hear that, it will end though. Just take it minute at a time. Ive been there many times, this too shall pass, hang in my friend.

Thank you but I think I won't get better because I'm scared of the anxiety and it's worse. Doctor changed my meds 3weeks ago and I'm worse.
