toe amputation
Hello everyone! I’m at the end of the road with metatarsal pain and hammer toe. I’ve had toe fusion in the past but toes have just drifted again and they are are very painful. My surgeon suggests amputating the middle hammer toe and then arthroplasy on the metatarsals. I need some advice please has anyone

Elective amputation following leg paralysis
I am seriously considering an elective above-knee
amputation
. Now, I have a background in operating theatres and have scrubbed in for many an
amputation
, so I fully understand the ins and outs of the operation itself. I'm looking for people who have possibly had the same or similar situation.

New Era For NHS
If the usual suspects want to report this thread feel free as I split the blame for my
amputation
three ways (long term diabetes/an incompetent vascular surgeon/government cuts leading to excessive delays in appropriate treatment)

Stormy 2nd Surgery
The vet called it an
amputation
. The claw has muscles and tendons so she must use a deeper anesthesia than the first surgery he had. I have only replaced his chewed off wrapping about 2 million times in the past 12 days! I love him so much. But he doesn’t want to keep it on his paw.

Amputation?
I think, he is thinking
amputation
. But, he would not tell me that. I feel like the damage to my nerves are already done, I don't have any cigs right now, but I want one real bad. I have been complaining about my feet to 2 other Doctors and they never suggested anything to me.

Hurt by Johnny Cash
After my bypass a few people went off radar (others have commented on this previously) but since my
amputation
over half the people I knew have. One I had known for nearly forty years. Three are quite strange.

Hi newbie here. Probable secondary Raynauds advice please.
I had foot surgery on both feet last February for
amputation
of one toe & pinning of another due to RA & suddenly since October my feet started to go totally white & freezing with no feeling whatsoever. My legs are freezing up to calf level even inside the house.

My husband had a traumatic
amputation
of an inch of his thumb last weekend, so we’re in holding pattern right now. I’m very thankful we had not started anything as of yet.

I wake up in the night, if I can even sleep, my feet spasm, part of the nerve pain from the

struggling with nerve pain after amputation and burn
Hi, I am new to this community and hope I can unload a little bit because I am struggling with nerve pain. I burnt my foot by spilling boiling water over it over 3 years ago, the burn was healing very slowly, I kept getting infections, cellulitis, and swelling. It got to the point that they had to amputate
