any experience with vitex / agnus castus / herbs? Help!

I took the Holland and Barrett vitex/Agnus castus supplement for about a week in December (at a high dose). I immediately experienced sore boobs and my period came dramatically a week early. The two cycles after this i have not ovulated but had a period.

High HDL & High LDL/Statin will be negative for liver right? My liver enzymes are elevated already.

Doctor did my bloodwork this past Monday. Checked everything. Not looking forward to that bill. Results are High on Lymphocytes, on White Blood Count, on SGPT and both HDL and LDL. My question is, won't statins negatively impact my liver? I've read online that they do and because of my already

Has anyone tried Agnus Castus for PMS/PMDD? Ive already tried evening primrose oil and it made no difference for me. I’m getting really bad breast pain 2 weeks prior to my periods and I’m also getting bad headaches effecting my eyes.

How food additives can perhaps affect us: a chocolate story.

I can eat Galaxy chocolate. No problem, and it doesn't trigger my IBS. The other day I ate a Galaxy Ripple bar instead of the ordinary block chocolate. I thought nothing of it, just thought it would be the same as the block chocolate. But it affected my bowel movements the next day, and there

Gentle liver flush - any benefits?

Hi All I've been reading about the link between hypothyroid and liver. I have decided to do a gentle detox. This involves castor oil on a cloth and a hot water bottle and lying it on the liver region for about 45 minutes. I've do it two days in a row. I just wondered if anyone else has done this and

Thybon Henning doesn’t contain acacia?!

Sharing for info but also a question around changes to formulation. I’ve recently had my T3 increased which meant moving to Thybon Henning 20s. Since I’m allergic to acacia, I set about trying to find out if it contained it. I spoke to 2 pharmacies (SmartWay and Roseseway Labs) as well as doing my

Anyone used Vitex (Agnus castus/chasteberry) and did it help or aggravate RLS?

Having heavy n prolonged periods so was researching solutions. Came across Vitex (to balance out hormones) but no idea if it's safe for RLS because when I googled Vitex RLS I read something about it affecting dopamine receptors? Has anyone used this for their periods or any other issue, or can advise

Update with Nephrology, Losartan discontinued from my treatment plan

To give an update for today, I talked with Nephrology and losartan was discontinued for now. I was told that hypoglycemia was a rare side effect of the medication so they would like for me to repeat labs in 2-4 weeks. As for my kidney function decreasing, I was told that the increase in BUN and Creatinine

Glans Problems

I got circumcised on the 24th Dec healing went well but I've developed a red rash on my glans that will not go away. I've been using castor oil as it feels very dry on occasions. To me it feels like new skin is growing on the glans. Has anyone else experienced this or do I need too see a Dr for some

Hypersensitivity post circumcision

Hi, I am on my 8th week at the moment, have had partial circum followed by frenuloplasty. Healing and all is going well and the hypersensitivity of glans is much reduced upto an extent that it won’t pain or discomfort in under garments or a slight tap. But any sort of sudden rubbing by hand or tissue
