Mirena Coil and Bowel/Abdomen Pain

Hi. I had the Mirena Coil fitted on March 18th. Since then I have been on antibiotics due to concerns over an infection (swabs came back clear though) and severe abdominal pain. Initially the pain felt like intense menstrual cramps, however know it is more like sharp bowel pain. Passing wind and/or going to the toilet does not relieve this. I have been recommended buscopan and peppermint tea however I do not believe they are helping.

Has anyone else experienced this? I will be getting back in contact with my doctor however I just felt a bit isolated in dealing with this and wondered if there was anyone experiencing anything similar with any tips/tricks?
