Tiny dark red dot appeared in end of tongue . ?

I noticed a tiny dark red dot on tongue at first i thought it was black but definitely dark red has appeared on tongue anyone else had this ? I was thinking possibly food related as in eating certain foods and irrating possibly . Like heat . Or crunching type foods fruits etc . Anyone else ? Will it just go ?

As you say..this could be caused by biting but…if it doesn’t go away, speak to your GP for peace of mind..it could be linked to an infection.
