Advice Yeast Infection

Hi everyone, I just got a yeast infection after so many years. I went to Dr. and they gave me 150 mg of Diflucan. I took it and after the first day I started to feel better. Now today is the fourth day and am starting to feel like it’s coming back. I also have been eating yogurt daily. Could it be just like a residual effect or just irritated and will take a few more days ? I read somewhere that it would take at least a week to completely go away. Any thoughts appreciated.Thanks .

When I get thrush now I have to throw everything at it...I get the capsule,cream & pessary...I get the capsules online whenever I need them

If you have vaginal thrush, balanitis or oral thrush, your symptoms should be better within 7 days of taking fluconazole.

If you have a serious fungal infection, ask your doctor how long it will take for fluconazole to start to work. It may be 1 to 2 weeks before it reaches its full effect.

For me, homemade yogurt does a better job than store stuff at chasing away the Meanies.

You don't need any equiptment. I've been making it all my life. If you'd like to know how, let me know.

Have you tried vaginal cream -Cannesten for 5-7 day, it is very effective. Hope you are better now.

I have Sjogren's too, and may be lupus, I get frequent herpes outbreaks too, very unfortunate my body doesn't agree with Valtrex !
