Advice Yeast Infection

Hi everyone, I just got a yeast infection after so many years. I went to Dr. and they gave me 150 mg of Diflucan. I took it and after the first day I started to feel better. Now today is the fourth day and am starting to feel like it’s coming back. I also have been eating yogurt daily. Could it be just like a residual effect or just irritated and will take a few more days ? I read somewhere that it would take at least a week to completely go away. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks .

If you have vaginal thrush, balanitis or oral thrush, your symptoms should be better within 7 days of taking fluconazole.

If you have a serious fungal infection, ask your doctor how long it will take for fluconazole to start to work. It may be 1 to 2 weeks before it reaches its full effect.
