Menopause Weight Gain

Good Morning

Does anyone have any tips on how to lose weight during the menopause?

currently I am 56 and usually sit at around 11.7/ 12.4st. In the last 2 years my weight has gone up by 2 stone. What ever I try I can’t shift the weight. I have constant cravings for sweet things. I could happily forgo all my meals for cake with cream any day.

How do I stop these craving so I can get back on track and eat healthier again.

PS I’m a Cook so I am around baking every day.

Thanks

Jacqui

Hi Jax, it can't be easy being around food all day but at least you know how to cook :) This might be useful about cravings archive.nytimes.com/well.bl...

There are a lot of sugar addicts in overeaters anonymous, a group I attend. People do seem to find it helpful to completely cut out refined sugar. I have done so and after a week or so I stopped craving it.
