morning everyone hope your as well as can be , I’ve now had my gallbladder removed, I’m putting on my latest results and would like to know if I can raise t3 a little bit more , I had bloods done 8/20 nothing to eat and drank only water, the only thing I did wrong was take all meds at the same time as I usually do I did mean to split t3 but I had taken them and then remembered, anyway these are some of my results

T4 16.7 (10.5-22) T3 4.4 (3.1-6.8) Tsh 0.02 (0.27-4.2)

nt- pro bnp 51 (0-400)

Haemoglobin level 140 (115-165)

White Blood Cell 15.7 (4-11)

Platelet count 215 (135-450)

Red cell count 4.79 (3.8-4.8)

Haemotocritic level 0.424 (0.3-0.47)

Mean cell haemoglobin 29.2 (27-34)

Red cell distribution width 13% (10-15%)

Neutrophil count 12,3 (2.10-7.5)

Lymphocytes 2.1(1-4.10)

Monocytes count 0.9 (0.2-1)

eosinophil count 0.3 (0-0.5)

Basophil count 0.1 (0.02-0.1)

Nucleated red blood cell 0 ( no range)

Alanine aminotransferase 97 (0-33)

Aspartate aminotransferase 104 (0-32)

Alkaline phosphate level 189 (30-130)

The last 3 results are way off , gp rang to say liver was worse , I had asked befor I had gallbladder out if it would make my liver any worse and was told no it wouldn’t, but they have got worse results since , hope someone can help me thankyou all for the help you have given me in the past , oh I’ve got to have more bloods done now , thanks

Ft3 is falsely low if last dose was 24 hours before test

Free T4 (fT4) 16.7 pmol/L (10.5 - 22) 53.9%

Ft4 on low side at only 53.9% through range

How much levothyroxine are you taking

Do you always get same brand

How much T3

No vitamin D, folate, ferritin or B12 results

What vitamin supplements are you taking

what would the difference of t3 be roughly, it was a mistake, vit d 121 (50-140) vit b12 937 (197-771) done in December ferritin 247(30-640)

Folate30(7-35) they were in January, I’m not sure dr would give me any more thyroxin so that’s why I thought about putting t3 up , I’m on 150 thyroxine t3 is 31, 1/4

Thank you for your reply

what would the difference of t3 be roughly,

Roughly about 20% higher. But impossible to say for certain.

T3 4.4 (3.1-6.8) So, your real result would probably still be under mid-range. Therefore there is room to increase. BUT don't you think it would be better to wait a while to give your body time to settle down and recouperate from your recent operation? For that you need rest, so increasing T3 at this point is not a terribly good idea, I don't think. :)
