I had Covid in March and since then have been feeling pretty much all of the rotten signs and symptoms I had when on T4 only as well as some more awful ones indicative of B12 deficiency. My ferritin vit D but especially B12 have all taken a dive. I have always had above range B12 without supplements. I supplement with vit D and ferrous sulphate, selenium, magnesium and zinc. I currently take 50mcg levo at night, 25 and 20mcg T3 at 8am and 5pm. Today my GP has happily agreed to a loading course of 6 B12 injections over 2 weeks starting next Tuesday and also to blood tests (before the first B12) to check for Lupus/cushings/iron storage etc. Are there any protocols for these blood tests? I will follow the usual re thyroid meds just in case they do T3/T4/TSH at the same time.

Have you been diagnosed as having Pernicious Anaemia? If not ask GP for test to confirm or not that you have P.A.
If you have Pernicious Anaemia you will need frequent B12 injections for life.
