Hi, I've just done a bluehorizon blood test mainly for my vitamins (can't get this on the NHS yet, though I'm trying), but had decided to have my thyroids done as well. As a quick recap had a thyroidectomy last year due to papillary nodules, I'm currently on 137.5mg Levo only (I was on 150mg 2 months ago). Also taking Vit D 1000mg, Thorne Research Vit B complex capsule and Magnesium citrate 100mg. Still feeling weak particularly in the mornings, but it's an improvement over the 150mg dose I was on previously. The blood test was done with fasting 24hrs and before 9 am, and I stopped the Vit B 4 days before test because of the biotin.
Here are my results - I've worked out the percentages from your dopiaza page, the percentages in brackets are the previous results from 5 weeks ago, (it was going to be 6/7 weeks, but I'm going to be away then). I'm due an NHS thyroid only test in about 3 to 4 weeks.
TSH = 0.11 0.27 - 4.20 mU/L -4.07% ( -4.36%)
T4 Total =146.0 66 - 181 nmol/L
Free T4 =26.9 12.0 - 22.0 pmol/L 149% (124%)
Free T3 =5.00 3.1 - 6.8 pmol/L 51.35% (80%)
Vitamin D (25 OH) 90
Vitamin B12 419 145 - 569 pmol/L
Serum Folate 18.10 8.83 - 60.8 nmol/
CRP 0.75 <5.0 mg/L
Ferritin 377.0 30 - 400 ug/L
Magnesium 0.92 0.66 - 0.99 mmol/L
Cortisol (Random) 434 6am - 10am 166 - 507 nmol/L
4pm - 8pm 73.8 - 291
I won't be speaking to a consultant for a few weeks yet (my usual one has just left), but was wondering whether a reduction to 125mg Levo might be a good idea.
Thanks once again for your excellent advice and guidance.
