Also my Active B12 is 150 pmol/L (37.5 - 188) according to a Thriva blood test
It has taken me a long time to get these results due to Covid-19 and I am so grateful to anyone who takes the time to reply to give me some information about what these results mean
Thanks in advance

Did you get your thyroid test as early as possible in morning before eating or drinking anything other than water and last Half or third of daily dose NDT 8-12 hours before test
Igennus Super B is good quality and cheap vitamin B complex. Contains folate. Full dose is two tablets per day. Many/most people may only need one tablet per day. Certainly only start on one per day (or even half tablet per day for first couple of weeks)
Or Thorne Basic B or jarrow B-right are other options that contain folate, but both are large capsules
If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 7 days before any blood tests, as biotin can falsely affect test results
Hi I wanted to ask you a follow up question please because I have stopped the Biotin and am just on B Complex now and I have noticed that I have a lot of hairs falling out so wonder if this could be because of that? I did not increase my NDT.
I have had slight hair fall before this but now it is much more obvious. If I put my hands through my hair several hairs will come out at at time.
How do you feel? Your free T4 is really low - crawling along the bottom of the range - but your free T3 is quite a bit better at 44% through range although I'd still like it higher myself ... so overall I'd say that if you don't feel tip-top it would be worth increasing meds. I don't know why you chose NDT, but there's scope for both free T3 and free T4 to go up quite a lot without being over-medicated - so try another 1/4 grain or so? - or maybe add some levo to the mix as your free T4 is so very low?
I feel better than I have in the past though do get headaches (less now than a month ago and probably hormone related as I’m 53 and menopausal). I do get tired in the late afternoon
I may try a quarter of a grain increase to see if that helps
