I’ve had lots of weird symptoms seen a number of consultants still no proper diagnosis. I have positive family history for hypothyroidism but my results just bump along borderline low t3 tsh that ranges from 3 to 4.5. I did a trial of levothyroxine but made me feel very unwell. I have got nodules on my thyroid but just under 1 cm so they will keep an eye but not excited by them.
I do have constant sensation of lump in my throat still struggling with fatigue bone pain muscle cramping and I don’t maintain levels of b vitamins or d without supplements.
Recent thyroid test with medichecks shows declining folate and ferritin again, and a slight rise in thyroglobulin antibodies from under 10 to 15.
I’m just wondering if this is significant at all and if I keep getting a yearly thyroid check myself as gp has written off hypothyroidism as a cause of my symptoms and I am being sen to gastroenterologist for malabsorption of vitamins and rheumatologist for the bone pain.
Thanks for reading

This is insignificant. The range for Tg antibodies is <115 so yours are very low. Antibody levels aren't static anyway, even if you had Hashi's and antibodies were high, they would fluctuate with every test without a doubt.
Dr Myhill mentions the burp test, but last time I tried it her link didn't work. You can google for it, but here's some instructions
Mix ¼ tsp baking soda in 4 to 6 ounces of cold water. Drink the baking soda solution on an empty stomach. Time how long it takes for a burp to occur. Time it for up to 5 minutes:
If you have not burped within 3 to 5 minutes, it may be a sign of insufficient stomach acid.
