Hello i just got some lab results after being on cytomel for a month.

T4 free 1.6 range 0.8-1.8

T3 free 4.0 range 2.3-4.2

TSH 2.86

Last months labs were

T4 free 2.0

T3 free 3.5

TSH 3.10

So my tsh went down but my t3 free went up. I was just diagnosed with Fibromilaga and some of you said the t3 free needs to come down to help that. Im going to assume i should advocate for higher cytomel dose? I have been taking 2.5mcg 2X a day and i take 200 mcg levo. I have been reading about natural dessicated thyroid. Is that something i should bring up? I know i have been asking u guys a lot but u have been so knowledgeable and helpful. You truly have helped me so much. You guys are heros! I cant thank you enough.

Was test done as early as possible in morning before eating or drinking anything other than water and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

Do you normally split your T3

Day before test split T3, taking last 2.5mcg approx 8-12 hours before test

When were vitamin levels last tested

Yes to all those questions. I did the test fasting at 7:30 am except i didnt take either med for 24 hrs. She hasn't tested my vitamins yet. I am asking for those on my next appt on the 8th.

Do you think my free T3 was on the high end because i didnt take my cytomel for 24 hrs before the test?

Are you on strictly gluten free diet If not, get coeliac blood test done BEFORE cutting gluten out

Yes im gluten free for several years
