wondering if someone can help me make sense of the following results. i've copied this from a table so i put the ref. range in parentheses to tidy it up a bit. i've always had to overreplace, to the point of sometimes completely suppressing TSH. i do have hashimoto's.

currently, i feel pretty low energy and cold and constipation and the skin on my fingertips is dry and horny again. when i look at the results, it seems i could use a little cytomel. i guess my question is why, or "wtf is happening to me"?

TSH0.3 (0.30 - 5.50mU/L)

T4 Free 25 (11 -- 22pmol/L)

T3 Free5.1 (4.0 - 7.8pmol/L)

I tried using the ts-diagrammer but it looks like the measure units are different and i'm not sure my conversions were accurate.

let's also assume that NDT is not an option (because it isn't).

Tangy66,

Are those the ranges provided by the lab which analysed your results?

yes, clutter; copied and pasted directly from the sheet they gave me.

Aww well am sorry to say this but it does look like you need some t3 as your ft4 is over range which isnt really advisable. Sort of implies that you are not converting super well so the t4 back stacks. So hate say this but a ndt would work much better or adding a bit of liothyroxine in & lowering the levothyroxine.

No mention of vitamins and minerals. B12 - Folate - Ferritin - VitD need to be tested. Levels need to be good for T4 to convert well into T3. If you have your results with ranges do post them.
