Test results advice pls after increasing levo

Hi all, I've done a Blue Horizon blood test to check where I am after a small dose increase from 75 to 100 Levo. Any insights you may have would be much appreciated.

Previous results are here: healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...

It looks much better and the FT3 and FT4 are at the top of the range, which is great. No doubt the GP will have a cow when he sees the TSH but I'll deal with that later...

Does the fact my antibodies and CRP are high explain why I still feel below par? I don't feel as crappy as I did, but I'm still more tired/bleugh than i should be.

Also, my ferritin and folate are not optimal. I have been eating liver pate with Vit C weekly but because I am post-menopause, I wasn't sure if supplementing iron was a good thing, given the risk of toxicity. Can anyone advise?

My Vit D is lower than it should be, but I am upping my BetterYou spray to see if that helps. Will test again in a few months.

Thanks in advance :)

Are you still absolutely strictly gluten free?

Are you also supplementing magnesium and vitamin K2 mk7

B12 and folate might benefit from daily vitamin B complex....one with folate in not folic acid may be beneficial.

B vitamins best taken after breakfast

Igennus Super B is good quality and cheap vitamin B complex. Contains folate. Full dose is two tablets per day. Many/most people may only need one tablet per day. Certainly only start on one per day (or even half tablet per day for first couple of weeks)

Or Thorne Basic B or jarrow B-right are other options that contain folate, but both are large capsules

If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 7 days before any blood tests, as biotin can falsely affect test results

Ferritin is looking pretty good, so the liver pate is helping

This is interesting because I have noticed that many patients with Hashimoto’s disease and hypothyroidism, start to feel worse when their ferritin drops below 80 and usually there is hair loss when it drops below 50.

Thanks for replying SD. I was taking a Vit B complex (stopped before the blood draw), but it contains folic acid, not folate, so I've ordered the Igennus one, along with a new Vit D spray containing Vit K. I'll keep eating liver pate, to try and give my ferritin a further boost.

Will magnesium help? I read it is best taken at bedtime, but that's when I take my levo. Will it interfere with that?

Magnesium needs to be four hours away from levothyroxine

So taking magnesium late afternoon/early evening
