Hi, any advice/insights would be welcomed. I had a hemithyroidectomy in 1996. I’ve never taken or been offered meds as the docs have always said my TSH was ‘normal’. However, I’ve been at my wits end because of extreme exhaustion along with a whole host of other symptoms. I got my medichecks blood results back today:

When a doctor says 'normal', he just means 'in-range'. He doesn't know any more than that. Your TSH is suggesting that your remaining thyroid is beginning to struggle a bit. And your Frees are on the low side. But, no doctor would suggest thyroid hormone replacement with those results, I'm afraid.
On the other hand, your ferritin is low, and that could be causing fatigue. I would suggest further investigation is necessary there, a full iron panel to see if you need to supplement with iron. Or, you could just try increasing iron-rich foods in your diet, see if that helps.
I would want my B12 higher than that, too. But to a doctor, all those results would look just fine!
