Help with lab results please?

Please can you help, as I'm new to all of this? My partner has lots of physical and mental symptoms of Hypo and his Mum recently was diagnosed with Hashis.

So we ran his bloods with Blue Horizons and they have come back as mosly within normal ranges with the exception of Ferritin (he's not on any suppliments). So we're not sure whether to give up on this line of enquiry into why he's not feeling himself. Do you have any suggestions based on the below lab results, please?

Biochemistry

hs-CRP 2.16 (Normal Range <5.0 mg/L)

Ferritin H 459.0 (Normal Range 30 - 400 ug/L)

Thyroid Function

TSH 2.02 (Normal Range 0.27 - 4.20 mIU/L)

T4 Total 94.4 (Normal Range 66 - 181 nmol/L)

Free T4 19.10 (Normal Range 12.0 - 22.0 pmol/L)

Free T3 5.21 (Normal Range 3.1 - 6.8 pmol/L)

Immunology

Anti-Thyroidperoxidase abs 24.9 (Normal Range <34 kIU/L)

Anti-Thyroglobulin Abs 12 (Normal Range <115 kU/L)

Vitamins

Vitamin D (25 OH) 87 (Normal Range Deficient <25 nmol/L

Insufficient 25 - 50

Consider reducing dose >175

Vitamin B12 252 (Normal Range Deficient <145 pmol/L

Insufficient 145 - 250

Consider reducing dose >569

Serum Folate >45.400 (Normal Range 8.83 - 60.8 nmol/L)

Many thanks

B12 could do with being a lot higher - over 500, Vit D is best between 100 and 150, and ferritin is OK. Other results look OK. although there is room for an increase in both free T4 and free t3

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. That's really helpful. That gives us something we can actively try to make a difference. I will go and check out some supplements he can try, to boost Vit B12 and D. Thanks again, really appreciate your help.

T3 is the active thyroid hormone which controls the metabolism and therefore the symptoms. Your partner's Free T3 is in the top half of the normal range, which is good, so you should not have hypothyroid symptoms.

As he is still having what appear to be hypothyroid symptoms, one possible cause is a genetic condition commonly known as Thyroid Hormone Resistance. It causes hypothyroid symptoms and requires very high T3 levels (often above the top of the normal range) in the body to overcome the resistance.

His mother's Hashis would also fit with a genetic condition.
