So it looks like I have to reduce my ndt. I am currently taking 4.5 grains. I increased recently because my body temperature was consistently around 35-35.5. The blood test was taken 24hrs after my dose and just before the dose of the day.
How much do you think I should reduce by? Should I leave out tomorrows dose altogether?
I also could do with a recommendation on how to increase my folate. This could be why I was cold. Any advice of which supplements to buy. I am currently tasking 3000mcg of B12 and 1000iu of vit D3.
Thanks.

You are overmedicated to have FT3 7.29 24 hours after last dose.
You only need to skip doses if you feel overmedicated. If not, just reduce by 1/2 grain and retest in 6-8 weeks.
You need a prescription for 5mg folic acid for 2-3 months to raise folate.
Active B12 >35 is unlikely to be deficient but I would expect yours to be higher as you are supplementing 3,000mcg. You might want to pop over to healthunlocked.com/pasoc as they're the experts on B12 and folate.
I don’t feel overmedicated, I just don’t feel well. I felt overmedicated last year just before my last test at 4 grains so I dropped back to 3.5. I started to feel under just before Christmas so I upped by 0.5 of a grain. That didn’t do anything so after a few weeks I added a further 0.5 grain. As that didn’t do anything I thought that a test would be good to see what’s going on.
My GP is useless, so I need to buy some folic acid. I could just do with some recommendation on which would be best.
My b12 is always low, GP said that it’s fine. It was a lot lower before I started supplementing.
I didn’t have vit d checked this time as again it is always low, but the last test had just about brought it into the normal range.
I have a good varied diet and eat plenty of veggies and greens, this thyroid is just rubbish! Why is it so complicated!
