Well, your vit B12 and vit D are much too low. D should be about 100, and B12 at least 500. So, they need supplementing.

Your antibodies are negative, but that doesn't mean you don't have Hashi's, because antibodies fluctuate.

You don't say anywhere whether you've had a diagnosis of hypo, and/or if you're taking any thyroid hormone replacement. If you do, you need an increase. If you don't, you won't get a diagnosis with that TSH, even though your Frees are on the low side, I'm afraid.

Thanks greygoose...

My GP says my thyroid is normal and needs no further action, that is also the opinion of blue horizon who conducted the test of the results i have shared with you...

So i have not been given any diagnosis apart from vitamin d deficiency....

The only thyroid supplements i take are 2 drops of lugols 5%, 200/400 mcg selenium, 2x1000mg doctors best curcumin & lots of virgin coconut oil...

Do you think i need thyroid medication....

Thank you so much for taking the time to help me...

Unless you have had your iodine tested, and found deficient, I would stop the lugol's immediately! That is probably making you worse, rather than better.

I don't think you need thyroid medication at the moment, but keep an eye on it. Get tested every year, and see how it goes.

But, you'll probably find you feel much better when you've optimised your vits D and B12. :)

Wilf_Plisken,

CRP is good and low.

I can't remember BH's range for ferritin but half way through range is optimal.

Thyroid results are euthyroid (normal). If you are taking Levothyroxine you appear to be adequately medicated. Thyroid antibodies are negative for autoimmune thyroiditis (Hashimoto's).

Vitamin D 39 is insufficient. Most people are comfortable with vitD around 100. I would supplement 5,000iu D3 for 8-12 weeks and then reduce to 5,000iu alternate days and retest in May. Take vitamin D 4 hours away from Levothyroxine.

B12 <500 is sub optimal. I would supplement 1,000mcg methylcobalamin with a B Complex vitamin. Folate is good.

Wilf-Plisken,

No, your results are unequivocally euthyroid (normal). There is nothing to suggest you have any type of thyroid dysfunction.
