First Time With Moviprep

I had Moviprep for the first time prior to a colonoscopy earlier this month as my local hospital refused my plea for Picolax. I managed the amount of liquid with some difficulty and I ended up trapped in the loo for many hours. However, the procedure itself was fine. Since then my insides continue to be upset with cramps and diarrhea. Just wondered about the experience of others and how long for things to settle afterwards.

Lucky you just having one x

I had 3 once one after the other and nothing 😂

But the cramps lasted a few days but also I have had many endoscopys and for a few days after them I feel uncomfortable, bloated, windy but I get constipated so I reckon its normal if you have gone the opposite way x

I couldn't agree more, thankfully just the one. A few years ago I had colonoscopies one after another a month apart. I was delighted when they let me go three years this time.

Take some probiotic drinks eg Actimel to start restoring some good bacteria in your bowel as the Moviprep flushes out everything!
