Low Potassium level due to Zytiga
I've been on zatiga for almost 3 years with good results however about a month ago I started feeling some cramping and also edema in my legs which eventually led to a diagnosis of low potassium level. I have had three infusions now already in hospital to get potassium up as well as daily small infusions

Zytiga after Xtandi?
I know men often try Xtandi after
Zytiga
, but is it ever reversed? My dad seems to be failing Xtandi and I'm wondering if
Zytiga
would be a viable option? His doctor has mentioned Pluvicto, but their website says it only provides a 4 month survival benefit?

PSA increase in less than two months of ADT
We finally got to see an oncologist two days ago, who recommends
Zytiga
and Chemo concurrently as soon as possible. We did another blood test as advised, but his PSA rose to 600. Obviously everyone expected it to go down.

First ever PSMA scan shows two small bone lesions
MO is starting my dad on the
Zytiga
and continuing Lupron. Plans to do another PSMA scan in a years time to check for any progression while of course monitoring PSA.

Failed Docetaxel, just like everything else.
Since becoming mCRPC, I have failed Xofigo,
Zytiga
, and now Docetaxel, all in the past9 months. Does anyone else have a similar story, and is there any real hope for Pluvicto working any better.

back in the frying pan
for a bone scan i guess. there was one new spot - in my neck- the radiologist and my MO agreed it looked more like degenerative disease than a met. didn't hurt, so we all felt OK with that decision. since I was in a pretty good spot, the MO decided to wait until my PSA got to 5 before starting me on

Zytiga failure after 4 years what now
Back on Adt and
Zytiga
. PSA went down, but now has risen from .36 to .56 to 1.15 .
Zytiga
has failed . Doc says no chemo for now . Just not enough cancer and I’m doing way too well for it . . I know SOC is Xtandi but she says it’s short lived if works at all . Looking for a clinical trial .

Still here today
Lupron, chemotherapy, and
Zytiga
. Started the treatment in March 2022. In August my PSA was undetectable. I'm still taking
Zytiga
and Lupron and my oncologist started me on Xgeva. Just saw my oncologist on Dec. 27th and my PSA is still undetectable. So far, so good.

Looking for suggestion of clinical trials for mCRPC
I have had SBRT (2007), Chemotherapy (2010/2011), ADT using Casodex/Lupron/
Zytiga
(2012-Current). Interested in joining trials that involve PARP inihibitors, immunotherapy, or other new/novel therapies. Can any of you suggest trials currently accepting candidates.

Post-Lupron, Zytiga, pred, radiation--pain in joints
Husband has been off Lupron,
Zytiga
for about six months now and finally weaned of the small amount of prednisone a couple of months ago. He's been slamming supplements and kicking up his exercise, and testosterone is slowing coming back (at about 80 right now.)

clinical trails for metastatic castrate resistant pc
Can switching hormone therapy- (currently taking oorgovix and
zytiga
) possibly bring PSA down again? Any promising clinical trials we should ask about? Thoughts on provenge? Not sure pluvicto would work here, psma scan not lighting up yet

Looks like lutetium is next for me (if I can get it)
It’s .22 now) I’ve also already failed
Zytiga
. Any thoughts on lutetium as next steps and sooner rather than later? Also had Guardant 360 genetic testing done. Awaiting results. I’ve had no radiation treatments done, and still have my prostate. Currently just on Lupron.

Docetaxel or not?
Took a Lupron shot and got on
Zytiga
May 2022 and my PSA went to .02. Got off
Zytiga
because of my liver and have since gone to Erleada. Decided on IMRT, did 28 treatments at MD Anderson. Took a second Lupron shot December 2022. My PSA is less than .02 and my testosterone is 0.

Zytiga side effects
Hi All, I started
Zytiga
one week ago. The biggest problem I am having is sleeplessness. Even with taking Restoril, a sleeping pill, I average between 3-4 hours of sleep per night. I’m a freaking zombie. My MO prescribed Trazodone for sleep, but I believe Restoril is stronger.
