Next Steps? Radium 223 or Jevanta (Cabazitaxel) - HELP - NEED ADVICE.
Already gone thru Chemo (docetaxal), provenge,
zytiga
and xandi. MO wants him to start chemo which he doesnt want to do (again) and wants to know thoughts from others. Success (O.S) statistics with Radium 223? Running out of options.

Any treatments left?
He has been on abiraterone, Xtandi twice,
zytiga
, Docetaxel, radium-223, BAT and now he is about to get his 8th treatment of Jevtana. He is 77 years old and is tolerating the Jevtana pretty well. His recent bloodwork shows his PSA is a little over 1000 and his phosphates are just over 300.

Auximen scan shows significant new cancerous activity and last post about my brother
At the moment, I consider this a warm escalation of cancerous growth that needs a prompt response since the
Zytiga
, Firmagon, Dexamethasone, treatment is failing. While I would like to have gotten more than 17 months, this is not a surprising development.

Zytiga question
🙏🙏❤️❤️ Also my husband has finally resumed the
Zytiga
yesterday after having Salmonella and a relapse of Salmonella. This has been going on for a month. Back on track praying we are. How long will it take to see a drop in the psa? I know he just started yesterday once again.

Why did they let me off the ADT hook so easily?
Aggressive, with Lupron, Taxotere and
Zytiga
starting at 3 months post op followed by the radiation. PSA has been undetectable throughout but I know I'm definitely high risk. The ADT was scheduled for 2 years.

Provenge
It could be the Provenge or the stopping of
Zytiga
and Prednisone, which his oncologist recommended. Will keep you posted.

Hmm... Myelodysplastic syndrome??
I've been on lupron for 2 years and
Zytiga
and pred since 4/19. My WBC went from an average of 4.2 to 3.7 within my monthly blood draw. Since I started Z, my PSA has been 0.014 and T <12 and no mets. DX 2 years ago.

Lynparza & BRCA1, BRCA2 or ATM-mutated cancer Survival.
"Men with BRCA1, BRCA2 or ATM-mutated cancers lived 19.1 months versus 14.7 months for those on
Zytiga
or Xtandi—and that was despite two-thirds of patients in the control arm crossing over to receive Lynparza after their disease worsened.

PSA went from 0.05 to 0.07
My dad’s PSA has been rising as he is on
Zytiga
, the doctor is switching him from prednisone to dexamethasone to see if the PSA stabilizes. Anybody had success with this switch? Is this a good route to go?

Methylprednisolone acetate with Lupron
I found one study that showed that Methylprednisolone and
zytiga
worked together for castration resistant cancer, but he is not in that position as of now, but he could be when the lupron stops working. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Receiving treatment while out of country
My insurance after I have fought a little bit has now told me they will give me my normal one month dosage of
Zytiga
, One additional month that is a vacation override, and then the third month I would have to completely pay out of pocket. I currently am on 250 mg
Zytiga
per day.

Zytiga
? Just wondering as I have read about many men changing to dexamethasone but I haven’t read success stories. Thank you!

FOR46 Trial - How the heck to decide?
My husband's cancer has grown on
Zytiga
so we're already on to the next option. His MO has suggested either Jevtana or a Phase 1 trial of the new Fortis drug. It's a Cd46 antibody attached to an undisclosed chemo agent. It's really just a leap of faith.
