They kept sending his

through the original insurance company even though they verified it every time and we thought (naively) that they'd successfully moved to his new insurance. NOW we're dealing with a $35,000 bill for

... until the companies caught up in March 2019.

Blood count concerns
After a F-18 DCFPyL PSMA scan located the recurrence in a handful of pelvic area LNs, I began monthly Firmagon shots,
Zytiga
/prednisone...and hit the LNs (and all those in the vicinity) with RT. RT ended in May and now the plan is to continue on with the other measures thru next May.

Using Trelstar alone after using zytiga
Also wondering if insurance would pay for
zytiga
if mets are no longer visible when we restart ADT. Thank you!

Update
I have been on
Zytiga
, Zoladex and steroid since then and I’m now 50. My PSA remains at zero and I recently changed my steroid from pred as this can help prolong the effects of
Zytiga
.

At what PSA did you switch treatments?
My father has anemia from systemic mastocytosis so I want him to ride the
zytiga
or xtandi train as long as possible.

0.02 on Zytiga but going to start chemo. Thoughts?
That Doc says that the
Zytiga
has already done its job and to hit it with chemo. I know that this is not the standard of care but I like the Doctors point of hitting it with something else. Thoughts ladies and gentlemen?

Finished HDR-BT and IMRT
I read one of TA's posts about
Zytiga
effectively causing water retention by causing the adrenal to release ACTH, and overhydrating every day probably caused even more water retention. Now my main goal is to try to get my BP back down. I hope this is not a permanent effect of

Starting Zytiga questions
Questions regarding
Zytiga
. Do others take it at bedtime without food? This would be easiest as it follows the same pattern he had with Xtandi. He would do the prednisone at breakfast and supper with food. Also, have others done half dose
Zytiga
to tolerate SE? I don’t recall posts about that.

Jevtana and carboplatin combo..where to go after
He has been on casodex, 2 rounds of taxtotere (one when first diagnosed and again in may this year),
zytiga
, xtandi, jevtana and now combo chemo. He wasn’t a candidate for Provenge. I guess I’m looking for what to expect next.

Zytiga with Fenbendazole
I have this huge bottle sitting here and wonder if others taking
Zytiga
are using Fenben. If so, are you getting good results.

Update on Labs
I am taking
Zytiga
1000 mg per day, 5mg of Prednisone 1 hour after
Zytiga
all on an empty stomach, Firmagon injections monthly, Metformin, and a cocktail of supplements of my choosing. I am interpreting these numbers as good indications that cancerous growth has stalled and may even be reversing.

I received notice in the mail welcoming me to WellCare Part D prescription Drug Plan.
There is a change in the way they are pricing
Zytiga
(generic), When I first started CVS and Aetna Specialty Pharmacy was 1/2 the price. They are now all the same. Unless I am missing something, it seems like doing business with the 3 related companies, may not be such a great idea.

Fish or Cut Bait with Zytiga?
His take is that it doesn’t improve my odds enough to pull the trigger and expose
Zytiga
to any possible cancer cells. Lam and his associates say, “blast it now.” I have 6 bottles of 60 each so am I “locked and loaded.”
Zytiga
/prednisolone for a year? Is it worth it?
