Hair loss and what tests to do
I also take selenium and vit C and
zinc
and a B-complex and magnesium... I know it’s not the worst symptom of hypothyroidism, but if there’s anything I can do to lessen the impact that would be great!

Help with recent result and t3 dose/ hormone issues.
I take lots of vits, iron, selenium, b12, b complex, magnesium,
zinc
, vit d/k2, quercetin and recently Q10. I’ve a new complex containing black cohosh, red clover, sage, Angus castus. Is this safe with Levo etc? It’s for menopausal and pms symptoms. For my night sweats.

Copper/zinc and the Thyroid
On a recent medichecks test it's transpired that my
zinc
levels are ABOVE range: 19.76umol/L (range 10.7 - 17.5) This is the first time I have ever had my
Zinc
levels checked so no way of knowing how long this has been the case but it's very odd since I do not supplement with
zinc
at all and from what

Also, broad spectrum probiotic, fish oil,
zinc
, selenium, magnesium glycinate and vitamin c. I always seem to be on the low end of the range but my TSH is really low so the Dr's freak out but say my other results are within range.

Vitamins and neurology investigations
I supplement with magnesium citrate, methyl folate, D3 with K2 (spray), methylated B12 sublingual tabs plus a whole load of other stuff like
zinc
and selenium. It costs a fortune! So... my MRI is on 18th November.

The Best Time Of Day To Take 7 Popular Supplements
If you can, take calcium at a different time of day than
zinc
and iron. Chelated forms tend to be better absorbed and easier on the stomach. New Chapter Bone Strength Take Care is a whole-food supplement that delivers bone-strengthening calcium.

Glutathione / Nitric Oxide & Asthma
While not intended as a suggestion or recommendation, I came across some info indicating that a diet which strongly emphasises vegetables - in combination with maintaining adequate
zinc
and arginine blood plasma levels 'might' - together - help 'some' with a deficiency of GSNO.

Long term Magnesium Oxide Use
I was also thinking of adding some Vitamin D and maybe
Zinc
but I wouldn’t like them to do more harm than good in the long run. Even though my GP did say that just because I had an underactive thyroid it didn’t mean that I couldn’t take vitamins!

Low zinc in autoimmune atrophic gastritis
Is having low
zinc
and high copper typical of autoimmune atrophic gastritis? Does the gastritis affect
zinc
absorption in particular or is it not correlated? Thanks
